Glass Boulder
Glass Boulder*: A fun rock with some cool features. Nothing really hard or really high and for the most part the landings are pretty good.

Approach: 30 seconds
Ambiance: ** It's in a pretty nice grassy section of forest, though its close to the road and a popular picnic spot
Parking: A pullout with five or six spots that seems to be a trailhead too.
Kids/Dogs: OK, you are close to the road and will probably see a few people.
Shade: Partial
Rock Type: Granite-Quality
Notes: There is some glass in the landings. It's at a trailhead. Nothing really hard here.

Directions: Park on the other side of the road where Sawmill Road T's into Lake Tahoe Boulevard. The boulder in the woods maybe 60 feet from where you park.

1. *V0 Stand start the slab, once you are half way up the holds get better.
2. **VBR Stand start and work the various jugs up. The landing is not very good, but the holds are.
3. **V1 Start on a good left and a slopey right and work you way up and right to a top out just left of the tree. Good Fun.
4. ** V4 SDS in the offwidth crack and work up to crimps and a sidepull rail then to some thank you jugs/pocket and up. It looks like most people were doing some powerful opposing moves, but nice high drop knee off the start turns into a great kneebar to get you through the offwidth.
5. V? Poor feet and a rock in the landing guard this SDS to the arete.
6. *V3 Low start on the crimps then into the crack and finish like #7.
6a. V3 Contrived. Follow the crimps up to the face ignoring the cracks on the left.
7. ** V2 SDS on the triangular tooth and head up the good holds and into the crack a cool top out.
8. ** V2 Work the arete to a pocket jug and up.
