The Ghosts
The Ghosts***
Some pretty cool climb with a great ambiance.
Approach: 5 minutes of ups and downs along a nice trail.
Ambiance: **** Doesn't get much better than this, epic view, nice patches of shade, and if the Ghost Dreamer boulder is gorgeous.
Parking: Their are a couple of pullout where you can park multiple cars.
Kids/Dogs: I heard rumors of rattlesnakes, but I didn't see any. Great for both, plenty of boulders for the little guys.
Shade: Partial
Rock Type: Granite-Quality varies
Notes: Not a great beginner spot. Some of the rock is great some is pretty suspect.

Directions: From US 50 Head North on Wrights Road for 3.6 mile and take a left at the brown sign for Crystal Basin and head left for .9 miles to a left turn. I've heard this road is closed to motor vehicles, but I didn't see any signs that it was. The road heads past an exposed campground at .3 miles and continues to a second large turn around in the bushes. Park here and walk a few hundred yards down the road and the Ghost Dreamer Boulder will come into view on a hill top below you on the left. There is a trail on the left that follows the Ridgeline down to the boulders.
